Ogres on goblin teams

Hehe.. All this leaves me to wonder about the original question.

For FUMBBL I have ogres written down as 240k on the roster and contributing the 24 rating. I was just wondering if this is the "correct" way to do this... Or if a goblin team with two ogres would indeed start at rating 76.

I wrote an e-mail to Jervis for my MBBL league to ask about Ogres on Halfling and Goblin teams before Season 2 started since the LRB was unclear, and I was running a Halfling team for the MBBL.

He emailed both Chet and I back that Ogres for those teams absolutely cost 240k and contribute 24 points to team rating. So that how the big man wants it. Expect to see it get cleaned up at some point in the future in the LRB.

In the past, his 'clarifications' didn't necessarily make sense. This one doesn't, either. A player should NEVER add more than his original listing price, no matter what you pay for him. That's how it was in the previous edition, that's how it should be now. No disrespect intended but that's a bad call.

I have to agree with Cervidal, that's a bad decision. Why should an Ogre contribute more to the TR of a goblin team than a Human team? It just doesn't make sense.

If JJ is so dead set against it why doesn't he only allow Gobbos access to Trolls. Problem solved.
