If interested, check back regularly as I'll be updated this as I get more and more pictures.
This time I've managed to get a pic of my troll, but because the image is fairly big I've linked to it
here rather than put it in the thread directly.
Probably my best painting to date, although I've noticed the pic shows up every single flaw

Brilliant! And, perfectly fluff-wise (snow and stuff), he appears to be standing in a quarter-pipe!

Take a camera without Macro function and take the pics in an unlit room. That will solve the problem

(did I mention I'm a lousy photographer?)
Cool troll! How did you get him to look so dumb? If I remember well he looks quite angry originally?
*edit* What kind of stuff do you use for snow? I've used finely ground glass, but it looks more like my models are walking on ice cubes

do a search for techstar snowflakes. It's not bad, but it is currently making me go through superglue really quickly. I need to see if I can get it to work with PVA...

EEEK!!! I'd hate to send my snotlings to sit on THAT thing's knee and tell him what they want for Orcsmas!

Superglue? Doesn't that ruin your brushes in a jiffy?

I don't brush it on really - I have an old brush with no bristles and I use it to spread the glue round the base. Once it has a coat of the snow on it the glue spreads out quickly by itself anyway.
