My Goblin FF player sculpt.

Post by SteveB »

This is the first Fantasy Football figure I've sculpted independently. I've posted elsewhere regarding my thoughts of possibly doing a small range of FF characters in resin through my company, Eolith.

My general plans regard slightly larger figures than this guy (human-sized or larger) but this guy has been in stages of sculpting for nearly a year and occasionally I'd do a little more on him. So, I thought I'd finsih him up before leaping into anything else.

Right now no concrete plans for what I'll do with him. I may release him myself. I may decide to put my sculpting efforts for Eolith elsewhere and, maybe sell the green (if someone wants it). But the fig is finished and I did promise I'd show him... so here he is.

Image

Hope you like.

Steve B

Looks good, if you decide not to cast him yourself I bet one of the other FF companies would love to buy him

He looks fantastic Steve. Definately in the "absolutely must buy" category! He'd work really well in an Underworld team.

Want one. ASAP.
God knows what I'd use it for...but that could be the best FF goblin I've seen.

Indeed a nice fig but I would have preferred if it had a football helmet on.

+1 from the public gallery.

Steve, if you don't want to cast it up, perhaps talking to Impact or one of the other indie companies?

Currently an ex-Blood Bowl coach, most likely to be found dying to Armoured Skeletons in the frozen ruins of Felstad, or bleeding into the arena sands of Rome or burning rubber for Mars' entertainment.

A fantastic sculpt. Reminds me of GWs older common goblin minis with his clothes.

Doesn't scream FF to me though. If he wasn't holding a ball he'd look like out of place on the pitch IMO.

I think if you put out this quality, you will have no problem starting a fantasy football section to your miniature company.

Great sculpt as always Steve.

The ball looks a little odd with the round bump on the tip, but the lines are clean and he looks a joy to paint!

Cheers,

Dante
