Mickey da Rat is a true underworld gangster, overseeing a vast criminal empire from the sewers below the heart of the Tragic Kingdom in Anaslime. A former Blood Bowl player himself, his career on the pitch was cut short by a block from a particularly viscious Black Orc. Off the team and in the gutter, needing gold to pay his mounting apothecary fees, Mickey took to slinging warpstone dust to the mutants wandering down from Hollyweird and began building his fortune. As his wealth and criminal influence grew, Mickey branched out into other illicit activities which eventually, and unsurprisingly, included gambling. His interests in various bookmaking rackets naturally coincided with his continued love of the game he could no longer play and while he might not be able to affect the game from the pitch, Mickey certainly continues to do so from the shadows -- many a Blood Bowl coach, player, and referee has been "convinced" by Mickey's warpstone-spiked bat that they shared Mickey's desire to see a particular score when the final whistle blew.
Mickey da Rat concept and backstory by Lahatiel, with character sketch by Dark Lord of the Impact! Miniatures forums. Figure sculpting and production through Darkson Designs.

Robert did and absolutely tremendous job in helping us get Mickey produced in very little time as the limited edition figure for the West Coast Quake tournament we held here in Los Angeles this past weekend. And now that the tournament's over, we've got Mickey and a slew of over limited edition tournament goodies available for sale:

And once again, thank you very much to Robert and his team at Darkson Designs -- in the short timeframe we left ourselves, we never could've pulled off this figure without him!

I've painted mine. Normally models have to reside in deep storage for a good couple of years before I get around to painting them but I painted Mickey the same week he arrived from the US! Apologies about the weird colours - they match my team...

I'm not 100% sure just what you're asking, but to flesh out the information that's already in the first post a bit:
1. Daloonieshaman and I came up with the concept of what we wanted as a limited edition figure for our inaugural
West Coast Quake tournament, which took place back in January (and was just 6.5 miles from Disneyland).
2. I fleshed out the concept and wrote up the backstory that appears in the first post.
3. I did a crude line-drawing of how I wanted Mickey to look and gave it to Dark Lord of the Impact! forums, who we hired to do the actual concept sketch seen in the first post.
4. We gave the sketch to Darkson Designs, who runs his own miniatures company of the same name, and who (at the time) was local to us and occasionally played in our league. Through his company, his sculptor worked up the green seen in the first post, we approved it, and Darkson Designs produced a limited run of the figure for us.
5. Every attendee at the WCQ09 got a figure, and Daloonieshaman sold the rest to help offset our costs. The last of the figures were sold a month or two ago; even I only have a single figure, myself.
Hope that helps.

I believe so, but my partner Dennis (daloonieshaman) is the one handling all of the goodies sales. You can get in touch with him at
daloonieshaman@yahoo.com and he'll take care of you.
