The new Titicaca Croakers

This is my new lizard team:
I am especially satisfied about the krox and saurus models, the skinks need a replacement or I need to convert them all to hold a ball or do something footbally and repaint the lot ...
The scale is not entirely as it should be, but doesn't matter to me. I am very pleased about the ease of converting and painting these guys.
Hope you like 'em!
Grtz,
Seb

I do like them don't think the scale is a problem. I agree with you about the skinks they are the weakest link but the team is ready so get it out there first before doing anything else

I think the coach is my favourite model.

Very cool models. From what manufacturer do they come?

They are Wargods models from Crocodile Games ... apart from the skinks of course which are just plain old GW models.
Anybody got some nice ideas for other skinks? I have tried to find some other models, but the best option so far have been the powerhouse swampmen from the Hordes range ...

Very nice, and the heavy drybrushing suits the saurus and krox models well! I think the skinks will fit in a lot better if you'd paint them in browns and greens too, though I agree that the models themselves don't fit well with the crocodiles too. I think some frog players would suit the team very well. Maybe you could convert some of the warrior frogs from Eureka miniatures:

(there's an english site that sells Eureka as well, though I'm not sure if they have the warrior frogs)
Other than that very nice team!

If you are keen on Impact Reptilidad for skinks (I am most definitely not) then go ahead.
I like the detail and overall finish of the WarGods line, but they really cocked up when they did the legs of those crocs.
I thought that looked like heavy use of ink and glaze rather than drybrush. To a better effect, don't get me wrong. Very nice team, but they would have been even nicer if you had taken the time to extend their legs a little.

Unfortunately that would have rendered the miniatures even more out of scale and therefore not an option for me ...
The paint is a combination of inks and heavy drybrushing as scales are great for applying these techniques!
I'm no big supporter of the reptiliads either, but I will investigate in those frog-like creatures from Eureka. If I try them out, I will most certainly share the result! (but don't keep awake for it, professional life keeps me from the painting table for probably another half year ...)
