First custom pitch design - Finished pitch on page 6

Post by mrbrownesquire »

Hello all
I have been away from BB for a while, but decided to try out photoshop and design myself a few pitches.

Here is my first attempt.

What do you think?

I like this pitch better then any others I've seen. You might make it available to your adoring public? :D

Cheers,
I used photo images for the pitch as I was interested to see how it would come out.

I'm not sure about the score track though, I might redo it.

Possibly might add a scatter template too.

Any criticisms or things people would like to see?

I will certainly share the files, will have to sort out a FTP, unless people can accept 2mb emails.

I like it a lot. If you could mail me the files I'll be a happy boy.

Couldn't you put it somewhere for downloading? That would be easier then mailing everyone who wants it.

I think my google account, using the same name, could take it. I'd have to open it at work and transfer it to my MP3 to get it home. (Home is dial-up and that would be very slow.)

The scatter temp would be nice. Can't wait to see how you do it.

I wish I knew how to do some of this stuff. Graphic art, painting, conversions, and even learn to win a game sometime.

I have signed up for a free FTP site. The link is:

I shall work on adding a scatter template and maybe redo the score tracks.

Great work!

I also just started my own pitch. But only have the grid and one square done.

Just book marked the FTP and downloaded the current version with my dial-up connection. Took less then 10 minutes while I romped around the web. :)

Back to packing.

I have updated my first pitch, I have added a scatter template, changed the score track and enlarged the logo. Is this an improvement?

Image

The second version is a mud pitch.

The idea for this is to put a this as a layer underneath the other pitch, then distress the grass to make it look like it has worn out in places.

Both are on the FTP

Any thoughts, suggestions?

I like the grass pitch and I think I might like the option of the "distressed" pitch. If I could only biuld one I'd probably go with the grass one, but I'm sure many othes wouldn't. Great stuff.

I really like Grass.
I mean your pitch has nice grass.

Defiantly leave the scatter template in the design. I like what you have managed to come up with so far, they look really nice. Now can you make the cost of printing them out cheaper? :D

Mr. Brown Esquire,
The pitches look great and much appreciation for the sharing. :smoking:
I have a question about how to get them out of the digital world. Would one just go to a kinkos and have them print it out on thick card, or what? How are people planning on making these pitches?
Thanks to Mr. B. E. and preimptive thanks to others.
