Nice colourscheme, I like it. I wouldn't have used a 3rd ed Mummy as I don't think that they mix well with the Khemri look (maybe bc. I don't like 3rd ed Mummies at all).

How did you do the pitch? I always wanted to do a really cool pitch that doesn't look like selfmade too much, and yours looks funky! Could you give a brief "how I did it" please?

Pitch isn't quite finished, but its basically insulation board cut to size, then surrounded by MDF Board. Then marked out the actually pitch with Lines and tile spacers, and cut out the dug outs. used a heavy mix of chocolate brown paint sandtex and PVA and painted the whole lot in a thick coao.. When dry highlighted it, then finally added the static grass.

I'm putting together another post later with pictures of what it was like at the start and where it is now ;-)

Wow. That's nice.
One of these days I WILL build my own pitch.

Like the use of the Wargods figs. I have a friend who loves that game, and the figs are fantastic.

Thanks!

Some questions:
1) have you used colour opies of the dugout/turn markers or just cut any spare originals into shape?
2) have you painted the tile spacers at the sidelines white after applying the pitch-mix?
3) isn't the board too heavy with it's being so thick (that was bc of the sunk in dug outs I guess)?
4) have you thought of cutting it into half and putting hinges, so you can transport/store it better?

Re 1 ) Yeah i've got a pdf of the Dugouts etc, which i just cut up and PVA'd underneath before applying the Insulation board. I may do something else though to make it more 3D when i've got enough time, but it'll do for now.
Re 2 ) Yes exactly that, painyed them white after everything else was done

Re 3) Well you'd be suprised, its not heavy at all. Well at least not as heavy as you'd think, the bulk of it is the foam board which weighs next to nothing. The only weight comes from the MDF Board. But its quite manageable.

Re 4) I dont wanna go down the road of Cutting it in half, for me thats just a little too complicated. Plus i did specifically want it to be in just one piece, and it stands upwards quite nicely in my Bloodbowl shed  . So storage isn't a problem. Plus the Grass has a Spray of watered down PVSA on it, so there no chance of it coming off ;-)

Thro-Ra's came from Wargods of Aegyptus

Heru Hero-WGE105 is the one with just the weapon snips

http://www.wargamesworkshop.com/Product ... &GrpID=240

and Heru Harbringer of Horus with Great Sword-WGE211 is the other although i had to cut of both arms and used the Two Orc thrower arms as replacements. Plenty of greenstuff which is why its WIP at the moment

Great team and pitch. :D
I'm using the same colour scheme to paint my Vampires (Dark Angel green, gold and bleached bone).
