am i th eonly one who is utterly disgusted with the 3rd or 4th rate sculpting and painting of these pieces of crap? the old micro machines itsies were more interesting than these half-assed throuw-backs to pvc figures.... another dark day for the brand in the hands of the only game company _worse_ than gw.

I'm inclined to agree with Mr Swift here. Shame there's never been a decent range of Star Wars figs. A worse company than Games Workshop - but only just.
You are not alone Lucien.

Sadly, I think it was once beautiful but now tarnished forever by Mr Lucas (hang your head in shame sir) and a million and one anal nerdys....

He is in the recently released DVD version. They painstakingly went through and digitally altered every single frame with Chewie in it in order to properly fulfill Lucas's "original vision."
And no, I am not serious.
I'm torn. Would your front line consist entirely of Stormtroopers or Bothans? I guess it depends upon which side you're playing...

I agree. A travesty and a sham and a mockery.
I played Mechwarrior for most of 2003, and as much as I have come to despise the collectible miniature thing, at least the Mechwarrior pieces were halfway decent figures. Of course, by the time I stopped playing the actual Mechs were not anywhere to be found in any competitive army.

The whole plastic prepainted craze all suffer bieng horribly ugly.
But a storm trooper team would be pretty sweet.
