Yesterday I started to work on my last orc miniatures. But I'm not sure what to do with the blitzers, so I hope someone can answer this.
On the blitzers, one arm is connected to the body by some extra metal. Should you remove this extra metal from the figure? If not, what colour do you use to paint it?

Considering what you said about your mini, I think it's a second ed' blitzer.
I think you should remove it :) It will be nicer

I don't think it's second edition. I bought them from GW online store only some months ago.

True it's the actual edition.

You could cut the metal bit off, as it does not belong to the miniature. To make yourself sure, you could take a look at the package

I guess its just a little 'bridge' (dunno whats the correct term...) that was used to let the metal flow into all parts of the miniature during the casting process. Just browse the GW-Pages to see, how the miniatures should look like.

Ork Team

As far as i can see, they removed whatever metal parts between the arm and the body.

Yeah, lop it off. Don't be afraid to do a little cutting. Just have some greenstuff handy to smooth over any mistakes. :D
