nice deathroller... although dare I say it's a bit too comical?? It looks like what a deathroller would do after drinking fungus beer...

the Dwarf can barely hold on, yet it is only MA6 unless I am mistaken..

Maybe it just bucks alot? One of Malakai's projects that got a little less attention paid to it, what with having to finish the goblin-hewer for this past summers Chaos invasion. ;)

I like the mini, but more as a showpiece than for gaming. Also I agree with Norse's comments on this one; a DR doesn't go that fast; there's even dwarfs who can keep up with one...

I think it just stalled and is "bucking" him off. It really looks like it's stopping and kicking it's back end up.

That's really reminscient of the old Rat Fink hotrod cartoons by Ed "Big Daddy" Roth.

Agree almost with snots, he's IMO hit the brake on top of the poor unfortunate who's just gone under. Could be a stall, but it's certainly a stoppie.

WTF is Norse on about? (Take your car out mate, find a nice bit of straight road on top of a dyke or something, and try to get yourself pitched forwards through acceleration/speed!). I reckon it's you who's been on the fungus beer....

Lurtzo... thanks for posting my pict from a different of my post here again ! So i dont have to do it

BTW ... I will post some more picts of the GD the next days... Just in case you like to post them in a different post again ! :D

.. ok, back to topic .
I was talking with Jake about this mini at the GD and he told me, the deathroller will be out the same time as the other secret weapon minis.
And of the new human team 9 different minis are finished now and he wasnt allowed to bring them to the show ... i cant wait to get those humans in my hands. :) Jake told me also, the size of this first team of a new edition will be the size all following BB minis will be adjusted. Maybe finaly one scale for all minis ?

arrgh..my eyes..Now all I can see is Norse on a big, butch broad. :P

I know where Norse was coming from, though. I used to hang arond in the motorcycle circles and I knew a few guys who drag raced motorcycles. I asked them once, how it was to ride something that hit that hard. They all said that it was illegal but they usually let their feet flap out in the wind behind them.

It still looks like a stoppie to me though. Good word DW. That's what I was looking for.

Yeah they said at TKC that they were moving to one scale BB minis.

great, just what we need, bigger figures. the damn things already don't fit in the squares when they get plopped on their butts as it is, and now the loony bin is going to start giving us figures three or four milimeters taller... brilliant... i bet every friggin one of them is going to be in an arms-up pose and require a 40mm round base too... since hey, no one is actually using these fracking things to play a game with afterall... and one with finite and quite visible limitations of practical space and well-known deficiencies therin as for the utility of previous bigger figures... but, following their usual logical progression, clearly we have to justify all those big guys and block orcs that caused so many headaches when they got blocked down by making _all_ of the miniatures impossible to put down in a scrum so that the bad ideas won't stand out from the good ones. Long live the lowest common denomenator! halflings 23mm at the eye? yes please, thank you, and an 80mm square base would be just lovely!

If the goal is to make the figures a bit larger ... I wouldn't mind having a slightly larger pitch to make the game easier to play for all the reasons that Phil just rattled off.

Be interesting to see the scale of the new humans if that's going to be the new standard. There's no doubt that those SW figs are huge, way outta scale, but doesn't mean the new humies will be that scale. At least I hope not! :)

don't give them any ideas, they might just do it in order to squeeze another hundred bucks out of us... of course, they wouldn't actually get it right, instead of making larger squares, tehy'd make more squares... two more each wide zone, four more deep each side (hey, no more ots!) and then send out the same old throwing ruler from 2e... but if you want to play their damn game, you gotta buy the useless piece of crap, or else they kneecap ya!

you can always tell when i am having a bad day at work, clue #1: i visit tbb; clue #2: i bitch incessantly about some trivial little thing and blow it way out of proportion.
