Painting White
Can anyone point me to a guide to shading white? I want to use white in the uniforms of my DE team, but am unsure about how to shade it.
Thanks in advance

sorry dude, no guide, but I start with codex grey, then elf grey, then skull white (oversized pic below
) alternatively if you want an ivory look you could shade up through bone, but that may look a little too bridal..

I get good results by starting with a Space Wolves Gray base coat, and then just highlight up to white. If you want the shadow to be darker, just start by darkening the SW Grey with a touch of Shadow Grey. This gives a blueish shade. Alternately, to get a yellowy shade, start with Desert Yellow. It really depens upon what other colours you are using to what shade of white you want

Rough?!?
yes, I water my paints down, so I guess it is the fact that the picture is 50 times bigger than the model is...
got any pics of your own work I can objectively critique?
