Extremly rare... the pict of the alternate Vampire Lord

This alternate Vampire Lord is the original version made by Steve Buddle when he sculpted the Vampire Team. Fanatic decided they wanted a helmet on him and that he should have more 'footbally' boots. As Steve was rather pleased with the original, Fanatic (very kindly) cast this one for him before the changes were made. Only one of this figure was ever cast and the original sculpture was changed into the final Vamp Lord. So, interesting curio or the rarest Blood Bowl figure of all time? Probably the former but here it is for your viewing pleasure.

Wow, great fig. Wish I could get one as well (non-helmet version for sidelines, helmet version for on field)
he looks great, even though he does remind me of Tim a bit

Even though it really doesn't fit their business model, seeing minis like that one really makes me wish GW would do a "make to order" run of minis they don't think will sell well.
They could take pre-orders for like a month or so, do a casting run to that amount, and then never have to bother with item numbers, time to market, keeping an inventory, and all of the other reasons why they release so few BB minis each year.
