Here's my replacement 'amazon' team after I lost the original GW team over in A'dam. Pictures aren't the best, but there you go. (They're a little 'pink', esp. the flesh tones, and the shading on the helmet wings is much bluer than the gray it appearshere. Take some better ones in daylight at some point,)
Story behind these figs is that I won them in a World Cup competition we had back in '02...(cheers phil, they were a joy to paint, I love them!) and to my shame they've been bare metal until recently. Team of 12 ready for PK and Q.

Where did you get the numbers ?

They're from a sprue of 3mm high plasticard letters/numbers, only ever seen them in one modelling shop where my parents live, couldn't find any online but gonna look into it again.

Nice looking team! Going to keep my eyes out for those style of numbers. Nothing wrong with a little bit of pink flesh tone. Very healthy! First time I've seen a rear pic of the Valekries. Did you use any non-phigs figs to flesh out the coaching staff?

Coaching staff? This is it so far, 12 players painted ready for this weekend's tourney. Haven't thought much beyond this point TBH!

To my virtually all of my teams are bare metal, you don't even compete in the shame leagues

Awesome work DW. Love the pink tinted asses. Funny, it seems to wield it's own hypnotic gaze. I'm sure my Norse would be too in awe to be much competition on the field.
