Bear with me - first attempt at posting an image. How do I attach a jpeg onto a posting when the image is on my P.C.?

you need to get the image hosted on a site somewhere, and preferably somewhere better than geocities or something. You then type the following, without * between characters
[*img*]http://location of image.com[/*img*]
[*img*]http://location of image.com[/*img*]
