Anyone know where i can get them miniatures cases that hold about 20 mini's? They are so small and compact, perfect for Bloodbowl.

Chessex (http://www.chessex.com/figure%20boxes/F ... _Boxes.htm) sells a nice miniature case for 14 minis. It's perfect for a tournament team. Only newer big guys or minis on large bases will need another case. My 2nd. ed. ogre fits in but my new ogre is to big.

If you're a NAF member you can get one of the special NAF branded figure cases for a reasonable price ;)

Looks nice, but doesn't look like a miniature carrying case. There is no foam inside.

I gave it a look, but on top it says: "this is not a lunchbox marketed as a carrying case" but on the bottom of the page it obviously shows pictures of a lunchbox. Even the description referst to it as lunchbox. So, what is it? I don't see any foam, as well.

I am sure that you could put some modified foam in it to keep your lunch undamaged. An apple cannot take up much more space than 2 big guys...

My fig case

Post by sineater40k »

Now granted your looking for something smallish, but i bought a bunch of the Sabol foam trays from the Warstore and they work great! You can work them to fit your minis any number of ways.

Now Sabol also sells a huge carrying case but i found that Walmart sells a rolling suitcase type thing that works perfectly and is dirt cheap. Currently it houses a 40k army but i am thinkign about making one for BB teams as well.

Sabol has different size trays, going from 1" high to 3" high so you can find something to fit even the biggest figs. I can post a pic if anyone is really interested in seeing what i am talking about.

The Sabol Designs Army Transports and trays are great. A standard team fits into an inch-high tray; Big Guys fit in a 1.5" tray. Each tray is a grid of half-inch foam blocks, 13 blocks x 24 blocks. They're glued on the bottom. When you're storing a team, you just yank out a chunk of blocks until there's a custom-fit hollow for the figure.

You can fit a whole team and support staff in a single tray. If the figs are small, you can do even better: my Halfling team and 2E Skaven team share a tray, and that's including the two Dryads for the Halflings.

The Army Transport case retails for about sixty bucks, IIRC -- I got mine cheap at a convention. It's deep enough to hold ten inches thickness' of trays. The individual trays are five or six bucks, depending on how thick they are, and you can usually get your local store to order them so you don't have to pay shipping.

As you can probably tell, I love my Army Transport.
