Excellent. I like those. Khemri is a bit down on my list but I'll definitely be picking these up when I get around to them.

Those would look good on the dancefloor. Might consider them to replace some GW mini's on my team "Bony M"...

But being made by willy they might be a bit big...

Plan B: roll strength increases! :orc:

Fans do not have to be represented by models, but it's much more fun if they are!

Finally some Skeletons! Soon I'll be able to buy a 'proper' ( ) Willy Miniatures Undead team. :D

Yeah...but I think he's got enough variation there to get away with this one. I'm not going to beat him up over it. It's obviously meant to fill that roll.

Yes there are variations, but the main features are too similar; notably the face and tentacle holding the ball.
How difficult is it to not make it look like a copy?
I'm thinking a tentaculous big hand/multiple tentacles, or a tentacle NOT holding a ball, a different face (mask?)...

bald head, bulging eyes, tongue hanging out are all too much.. a different head would be fine for me because the pose on the Willy model is better.. but the head is a pure rip off...

also, given what Tentacles do in the game (trip people up) why include a ball at all? I could understand it if Tentacles were the same as Strong Arm, but they ain't, so why the ball??

Have to agree with Norse and Aino. It's a blatant rip-off, and not even a subtle one, which is a shame, as he's shown he has the skill to do much better.

I'd prefer a more fresh take on Lewdgrip. I think the WIP is too similar to make me think of replacing the one I already have.S.

Where do we draw the line between "rip off" and "update" or "reboot". Given your arguments Hollywood has been ripping off old movie franchises for close to two decades now.

If you cannot stall out for an 8 turn drive to score with dwarves then you need to go and play canasta with your dad..if you can find him.

yes, they have, and for the most part the originals were far better..

I hade no issue with any of the Chaos team (other than the one warrior with the tiny head, but thats aesthetics, not copyright  ) until this point.. this is more than an homage, or a tribute, or a reboot - it's a near exact copy, which isn't cool in my book..

some people don't live by the same standards I do, that's fine - horses for courses.. if this mini had a completely different head (and I mean completely - not just adding a moustache! ) then I'd be OK with it.. I would still question the need to have a ball in the tentacle, but I wouldn't be crying foul..

I'm curious who makes the design decisions for Willy - does he tell his dude "make the model look like this" (in which case shame on you Willy) or does the designer come up with something which Willy doesn't realize is a straight up copy of a GW fig (in which case shame on you Willy)..
