Discuss Fantasy football-style board games - GW's Blood Bowl, Impact!'s Elfball, Privateer Press' Grind, Heresy's Deathball, etc. THIS IS NOT AN NFL FANTASY FOOTBALL SITE!
A forum for football mini's talk.......painting, converting etc. etc. or showing off great accessories that make playing the game easier, cooler or more fun.
I've based the team now following some advice here in this thread I went for some dry swampish look (dry swamp?! does it exist?) Anyway, I sculpted some plants and painted them green/brown/yellow to make them look dry. I then glued some static grass in turfs and some longer straws. I also managed to take a team shot, not very sharp unfortunately, but for now at least
Ciao!
They look great as a team! For me, the 'swamp' bases look more desert-like. They look fine as is, but some darker patches and some small pools using water effects might enhance the swamp theme if you were so inclined!
Ben lurking here but having seen the team must say they are awesome

If you cannot stall out for an 8 turn drive to score with dwarves then you need to go and play canasta with your dad..if you can find him.
I'll make troll but I don't know if I'll use it. Maybe I'll do a junior goblin team and use him there. Anyway I will use the Goblin king model from the Hobbit starter set. I'll modify the model to more of a warhammer look. I think he has a nice blood bowl pose though and is more "human" than the river trolls.
I started on the voodoo doll goblin but maybe I need the first one for the junior team
Choices, choices! I will probably do more than one troll as I have decided to make a goblin team in the same fashion. A friende of mine inspired me to make an alligator. I think it's good since it breaks the colour scheme and gives some variation. I will probably make it from a kroxigor with a sculpted alligator head. I really want to make some progress with the greenstuffing skills
