Your choice, there are a few minis that I know of that are going to have signs with messages.

where did the heads come from? i have 2 teams worth of 2nd ed dwarfs, and i'd love to do some head swaps.

Hex base will probably work, if not i'll make it work.

Heads are from old Rackham dwarves with helmets added.

I picked up a couple of spare coffee stirers with an Americano yesterday and put them to work (nice suggestion solitaire):

He'll get an undercoat over the weekend and some paint next week if I can fit him in

i don't have the painting skills to do bases like that...
are we going for light colored wood on the bases?

The bases will be blocked from view while the mini is in the stands. The would will be a lightly stained wood, dirty looking.
