I think most people use some fine real chain for chain... (or did you mean chainmail?)

I have to keep peeling them off and starting again.

Are you trying to sculpt chain, or are you using actual chain, as in the fellow above?
Good idea! The Heresy Sculptin tools are so much better than the GW one. There is one tool in particular that I think is amazing. If you've been getting these results with a GW tool, imaging what even more amamzing stuff you'll do with the Heresy tools!Ewan wrote:On the plus side - I have just ordered some stuff from Andy @ Heresy. At last, a variety of sculpting tools- The GW one has been good so far but it is limited where it can reach (hence the invisible left hand he has at the moment..
) So hopefully, I can develop the details a little more now.

I'm not totally happy with the chains but if I keep going over them I will be there forever!
They look ok though. Hopefully it will be finished by this weekend (monday at the latest)
As always, please give comments as it is good to get opinions on where I am going wrong - It feels like I "can't see the wood for the trees" type thing. If you have any tips or advice - It is very welcomed!
