The sculptor emailed us that he is in the final phase of sculpting and should be finished very soon.

I have not been posting much on this as he is still working on this project and I didn't want to take thunder away from Rolljordan's figures when these are still on the sculptor's table.

The sculptor says he is done ... yeah!!!!!

Here are examples of 3 figures using the sprues. A blitzer, a catcher and a lineman.

Hmm... Have to think about theese for a while.

The sculpting looks great but I have to ponder about the general apperance...

They are a bit long in the faces and have a kind of humoristic look. And I can easily believe that they are extraterrestials...

But the heads are bit big aren't they?

I think they will grow on me. Great sculpts.

What I worry about is gluing metal arms on plastic torsos. It require pinning and theese look like slender arms that will be ahrd to drill pins into...

Definitely were not going for a humorous look at all ... not even a little. So that was definitely not the intention.

If you look at the Slann from 2nd edition art ... they have that head shape and that is the basic shape we went for ... is it a perfect match ... no ... but it was a shape that I was very happy with for what the Slann should look like.

That said ... if after some time that look is not for you ... I understand that.

As for metal arms on a plastic body ... I'm sure it would work or I would not have paid to have them made. That said ... I'll let you know when I put my team together.
