I know that miniature, and not a good idea to repeat the miniature, there are many ideas "attacking", for example, boxing, kick to the face of the enemy, kick boxing etc ... watching the game street fighter and talent Sergus spectacular miniatures can be made.
Norse wrote: at the risk of causing offence to the Spanish BB community, it might actually benefit them to look at websites and forums which are NOT Spanish sometimes.. they have always struck me as a somewhat "parochial" group both culturally and linguistically.. :-?
Spanish Forum Blood Bowl is a very good forum, we have very good Spanish players and we can read their advice , all brands and amateur sculptor show their new products (including gaspez) , everyone is welcome, and can write in other languages (Galak writes english and Italian players in their language ).

linguistically : is true that language is an obstacle (I speak very bad English) and it is logical that coaches speak much Spanish in a forum where it is easier to communicate.

culturally I think it's a racist and xenophobic, unnecessary and is not the first time I read such comments in this forum.

The culturally as you have described it carries very negative connotations here in the States and though norse can be crass at times, he is not calling anyone "racist", merely I read it as being closed off the the rest of the non-spanish commmunity. I will admit that I am kind of closed off to the spanish community as well, but that doesn't make me a "racist". It merely means that I spend my time on english forums because it is easier for me. However, if you are marketing miniatures to the world and not just your region, it would be worthwhile to be aware of your competitors and and thus know what has already been done and if it was executed well or poorly and design your products with that in mind. Lots of BB aimed figures out there right now and I think this forum has the best range of audiences so it would be good to come here to check out minis and what is going on world wide.

OK, let's get the thread back on track in a hurry..

bouncergriim, thanks, but I don't think I'm "crass at times". I think I say what everyone else is thinking but lacks the guts to say. The men in my family die young, so I'm milking every moment I get..

Willy, my comments are not meant as racist or xenophobic. I was at Eurobowl I, and II, and IV. I have seen the Spanish BB team and count some of them as my friends (Dark Duke, Kerunch). I have seen them speaking to each other while I spoke and laughed and drank with members of the England, Germany, French, Belgian, Dutch & Italian teams. As a rule the Spanish BB community isolates itself. If saying that is in some way offensive then so be it. I don't mean to offend, but apparently I'm good at it. :(

It may be that the linguistic lack of confidence appears to also be a cultural aloofness. I'm not Dr Phil, so I'm no expert - all I am saying is that the Spanish BB community seems to separate itself from the rest of the BB community, both in terms of language, and willingness to "mingle".

For the record, the last 6 minis I bought were by Spanish sculptors, 5 by Franarcilla and 1 by Willy, so I would really appreciate it if the accusations of prejudice would go away now.. :puke:

you are a sincere person (that's a virtue), but also are a "crass at times" (that's a defect) are two very different things and are not to be confused.

Yes , spanish team are very good guys , Dark Duke , Pedro , Obeliz and Kewan are of my city , and Kerrunch :D is very difficult to win, but it is a luxury and fun to play a game of blood bowl.

only for linguistic reasons, to Amsterdam Spain is the country that most teams play ... I think that only Spain and France, teams have been out for lack of space.
Norse wrote:I don't mean to offend
OK , I don´t mean to offend either , accept my apologies ... but I read too many times.
"Spanish brand not pay taxes and not cooperate with his government"
"Spanish postal service is very bad, do not buy into Spanish web"
I will not stay silent and defend my country and its culture, always with frensy , Claws , mighty blow , Piling On and dirty player ;) .

:o I really like this Zug, too! Unfortunately, I already own 3 different Zugs. :blue:

I love your work and would wish for more star players but prefer stars that don't already a figure available.

Hey, awesome! Would love to see a size comparison to a plastic humans, if that's doable? This guy would be sweet as my ogre, if he's big enough (by old, non scale creep standards, he may be about right, I'm hoping).

Lovely stuff.

I'm member of this forum, the bbtactics, the spanish one, the italian one and posted once in the Euskalturnover one (french),...

that's why I laugthed at you by finding me parrochial simply for not reminding a miniature that I had seen but only on line (never had it in front of me otherwise i would remember it).

Is not more parrochial someone who only posts in his mother language? :smoking: :smoking: :orc:

But yes I agree with you that the Spanish Eurobowl team is quite parrochial, (and a closed parrochy team by the way).  But don't consider all of the spanish comunity by their behaviour as far as I see it they don't represent me while they keep it unfairly closed to a few bunch of friends. :pissed: :pissed: :pissed: :pissed: (you put the finger in our bigger wound!!!)

An of course as a matter of fact spain is probably the country in the world in wich people learns a worst english (don't ask me why I'm a teacher)

Great Zug Willy by the way!!!

Im so happy you have made a zug, I will definately be buying that fella. I have two of the 3 zugs out there at the moment, and Im looking for the rare one, fingers crossed someone will sell me one soon. Then I will buy this one and my all Stars human team will be nearly complete.

I'm using 3 zugs soon to be 4 ;) as the blitzers. Hoshi Komi as my thrower. and probably Griff and Gregor Meissan as the catchers. Then probably Morg for my Ogre.

Can't wait till you release it.

You might want to call him something different though to avoid the wrath of GW and their IP police. Just call him Xug that should do ;)
