I think the halfings of Pedro, were manufactured, but later (perhaps tournament limited miniature ).
translation: Willy thinks Pedro's halfling are great too and thinks than sooner or later a tournament will want them and will be casted as limited edition for that tournament. But he had already comissioned the full team to Sergus when Pedro did thoseother two and he sticks to his word of buying a full team of halfling to Sergus.

This five are the first lot but as far as he's told he plans to do a full team with all halflings diferent. So he is open to some ideas for the reamining nine that are down the pipeline,...

Indeed at the spanish formus there have been even a guy that asked for a hafling with karatekid's position!!! :smoking:

I would rather the team steared clear of 'comical' stances, these first 5 are just right and I think they are great and what i've looked for for a long time.

Agreed, just because they're small and stunty, don't make them into something rediculous.

Looking forward to these, keep the serious style you got going :)

then he should buy the one from Neomics in that case - that mini already exists!

at the risk of causing offence to the Spanish BB community, it might actually benefit them to look at websites and forums which are NOT Spanish sometimes.. they have always struck me as a somewhat "parochial" group both culturally and linguistically.. :-?

Well, I actually posted info about that figure at BBForo several months ago (February). You're welcome to visit our community instead of believing txapo  . No offence at all.

Norse "elegantly" presents. (being offensive without need of it)

Parochial: hick, country bumpkin, people from the provinces, provincial... usually used in a pejorative way.

Sad you need to qualify all of us in such a derogatory way, because one person did not know about that neomics halfling.

On the other hand, if a mini exists... can't another one be done?

As far as I know, most positional players were first done by GW, and now each brand has their own players in the same positions (trolls, ogres, minotaurs, werewolves.... this new halfling team, for instance) and nobody appears crying "that mini already exists!!!"

Is it just your prejudice, or is it caused by the raise of spanish brands and sculptors, with a quality level much higher and greater than the brand you are related to?

I'm not related to any brand, I have no idea what you are talking about.

Maybe if you weren't so parochial you would already know that :P

and actually, because a "karate kid" halfling mini has already been made, there's a lot of good reasons not to do another one, plaigarism being one of them.

now, if you'll excuse me, I have a Klan meeting to attend..

Well, I know what Norse means. More so than other players from non-English speaking countries, Spanish players seem to segregate themselves. Of course, it doesn't seem that too many of us are frequenting the Spanish forums, either.

The good part about remaking a Karate Kid mini, is you only have to worry about Wil Smith's kid kicking your ass instead of Ralph Macchio.

Urgh, no thanks to any stupid comedy poses in those flings, it would totally ruin the look of the team. Personally I really dislike teams that don’t resemble Bloodbowl players anyway. :pissed:

There are more than enough fun alternatives and if someone really wants one of those models in that pose then it wouldn’t be too hard to convert it. Looking at the existing example I don’t think it looks particularly good either.

A halfling in the same pose as Eldred would be pretty cool...
