progress report - the first C-Dwarf:
Image

I have struggled with the skin (to much blue, then to little, to dark, to light...) and the white on the helmet quite a bit. I dont like my metal on the shoulderpads with spikes. The base and the feet are just basecoated. C&C on improvments are more than welcome.

for shoulder pads, i just use mythril mixed with scorched brown and a bit of black and then i do the highlights (edges) with mytril.

I love your hobgob conversions, and like the color scheme you've chosen.

However, I wonder if there is not enough contrast between the white on the helmet and the gray skin tone? I like how you brought out the individual teeth, and you did a great job on the "tusks". Keep us posted!

I like the purple and white scheme, but the thing for me is the skin colour. Its just a bit washed out (at least on the photos), making the whole figure look a bit bland, and I think although the purple is strong, the white is a quiet colour in itself, so needs support from the skin tone/colour. Does that make any sense? I think the beer from last night is still keeping me company!

BTW, your nurgle team is awesome.

I like the purple and white, but you might get more out of the mini by using bronze/gold on the shoulder pads. That would make them stand out more in contrast to the skin.

I think the golden shoulderpads did the trick.

Thank you.
As always are the lightning kind of bad so the miniatures look worse on picture then in real life, but I could not make myself do a proper lightbox before the photo set. I just wanted to have it done as quickly as possible.
