The money isn't taken until the goal of $4500 is reached.

Yes, Baboons are monkeys, which is why there are several levels that include nothing but the 5 new Ape models. We wanted coaches to have the choice to mix and match - you can blend monkeys and apes or go ALL APE! Some teams may need some little guys to foul or get thrown or something.

Initial reaction as above but guys TBH I have two big and one niggling problems with backing this, and I want too.

1 I want to see the greens really before I commit and they are not even sculpted. Checked the website and it all looks good but I am wavering

2 Christmas. Its a tough time to put aside £70 (I would be looking at the big Orc version) when I have other claims on my money (and am 18 months into a pay freeze having lost a load of allowances).

3 baboons aren't apes and neither are gorrilitors (or whatever they are) If you had done the gibbons as goblins and a big KONG for an Troll (imagine a huge silverback in the middle of the line) I would have been all over this. As it is I love the idea but its 4 identical apes + 4 more identical apes + 2 pairs of apes, an Orang and three things that are not apes and don't gel with the team. I really am not sure.

Had you done this in Feb I would have been on it faster, had you got more poses I would find the money now, had you done more apes I would have loved it. Really wanting to support you but not really feeling this.

The greens are the most expensive part of the process. If those were finished ... the casting and moulding expenses are nothing in comparision.

Understood ... but adding on a Gibbon and a Kong would have made the goal needed around $5700 instead of $4500. If you want the Gorillas to have different arm options so they look different that adds $600 to the project (so now its up to a goal of $6300). Not complaining ... just showing how quickly this adds up.

I hope Chance and Byron hit the goal ... but I'm just explaining that the main point of the KickStarter is that there is no money to pay for the greens to begin with ... that's why there are no greens for the project at this point.

As I love the ape project, I am just thinking it could boost interest further if more was known on the potential to expand the variations in the future without holding up a start to the project. I love the concept, but like most I'd like a little variety in the models on the table and don't particularly love breaking out the saw and green stuff to make it happen.
