Greebo: Volmarian - Chaos Dwarf - READY

Team looks great, the Chaos Dwarfs have realistically large hats but they are not 99% of the model unlike GW’s efforts.

The hobgoblins look fantastic, a nice half way house between goblins and orcs but nicely unique. I can’t wait to see the mino as well.

Only thing that lets the team down is the legs of the Bull centaurs, they look too large for the models and it seems like they are on stilts.

Interesting. I thought almost the exact same thing with the only difference being that I liked it. I thought it complimented them well.

Anyone with good ideas for colorshemes for the team? I'm pretty far from being a pro painter and have only painted one team the last 15 years and that was using army painter. The team name is Maniac Miners...

Just ordered the full team and two Claw arms to go with it. Can't wait to get my hands on them.

I think they will be a blast to paint. Off the top of my head, I'd go for a classic black-red outfit, with dark grey "stone skin" and flaming orange hair/beards.

I love the bull centaur models! The legs keep the same stout, hardy feel that the rest of the dwarfs have!

Great Job on these! Cant wait to see the minos!

Sell the GW ones again and buy the Greebo ones, they are really cool.

My team is pretty close to being finished, need to paint the last three hobgobs, the markers and give the whole team a spray of matte varnish.

Played my first game with them against some GW high elves and boy, thats some huge dwarves! They are the same height as the elves, but over twice as wide. Didn't notice, when I painted them as my other figs were packed away. They look cool though - and scary.
