Removable helmet? So cool! Leave it off when he's in the dugout, put it on when he's on the pitch! Great execution of a neat idea.

Painting is fabulous - love the grey skin. The only thing that I'm not sure about is his hair colour - a lank dark grey-green would have been my choice.

Fantastic work. That is by far the best 2ed. troll I've ever seen.

Really rather brilliant, and rather helpful - I'm trying to bulk up some 1990s Warhammer trolls after the weapon snips and I'd been struggling. Some great ideas and wonderful execution.

Also, I think it's worth mentioning your paint job - very nice. His colours seem really well balanced.

Only just seen this (from the link in axiom's thread), and I'm guessing I'm in a minority here.

While I agree the conversion work is excellent, I think it looks worse than the original - I liked the thin look on the old trolls.

Thanks guys, just came back and have internet access again.. :D

I'm glad you like him (well, most of you), and I'm very pleased myself that the GS-work came out as planned, I'm a novice in that area.

I'll put this team in their case for now, in anticipation of the league starting this fall. If I ever find those Empire heads im looking for I might start some blog type thing about those as well.

Cheers, and thanks for everything!

I personally really love the original skinny troll, but this beefed-up version looks good too! The removable helmet is genius, even if it happened by accident! :D
