Discuss Fantasy football-style board games - GW's Blood Bowl, Impact!'s Elfball, Privateer Press' Grind, Heresy's Deathball, etc. THIS IS NOT AN NFL FANTASY FOOTBALL SITE!
A forum for football mini's talk.......painting, converting etc. etc. or showing off great accessories that make playing the game easier, cooler or more fun.

Not yet.
I have about 20 minis for various sideline jobs I want to paint before considering that.
If I ever make it to the World Cup I will be painting a special version of the team for that.

Do you look at postal stamp or date of arrival ?
Looks like mine might be only just in time for June 8th
Bah, he'll fall in the category "Fans Forever" then
W
Fans Forever it is. He will get there at some point but late I'm afraid (guess in 2 weeks) since I made no progress at all this weekend.
He was supposed to go in the mail this morning but my "new toys" got in the way. With the first nice weather in weeks here in Belgium, honeybees started swarming en masse and I was lucky to go and collect 2 swarms. I have them now in my garden; so I am beekeeper at last!
Good thing about painting this fan is that I found a new and fairly affective way to paint skin... which as always been a pain for me.
Seeing them minis in front of a painted stand with advertising boarding looks 1000 times better than what the minis did on the plain unpainted stand before. And that's not to say that it looked horrible before, it looked ok. The minis on the painted stand look awesome though.
I really like the little 'achievement' signs you've made up (i.e. 3rd Place XXX, Best Defence YYY). How did you make those signs (and the advertising boards)? Just printed on a laser printer? Are they laminated?
Advertising on the stands was printed on 110lb cardstock, then glued on. Added a layer of glue on top for extra protection.
Achievement banners were same printing but then mounted to little pieces of wood before getting glued to the foam.
There is a piece of the stadium that will go between the two stands that will help tie everything together, it is going to be where all the Championship banners are hung.
