Excellent.

I'd love to make a team of these.

Is it possible to do 3 different poses of this figure?

If not, I was thinking that if the arms and heads were seperate they could be posed in different ways upon assembly.

....and please don't forget the Deep Fruit Sculpt to accompany the Pot Plants.

Being a Highlander myself (lived much of my life in Avoch in the Black Isle - About 15 mins from the safari park mentioned in your wiki) I'm looking forward to this.

Cheers,

Ok. There will be four positioned minis for the Moomin Terrors.

1) Standing as picture

2) Scratching arse cheek..a la iconic tennis girl poster and with BB ball in hand.

3) Outstretched with bowler hat as though going to catch ball with it.

4) FUll tilt run holding down hat with ball

5) ????

I'd really love to get a hold of one of those old GW Halflings that are sat on the shoulders of another halfling. But they're like rocking-horse doo-doo.

How about...

5) One moomin stood atop another, as the top one is throwing a punch into the face of an opponent. A first for stunties?

Or too hard to sculpt?

As he's wearing a kilt, perhaps a version with him causing his enemies to flee in terror, á la "Carry on up the Khyber"?

@ Landrover ~ love the ideas! May take them onboard 8)

Anyways, for you lovers of step by steps here are the latest images of the current 4 sculpts underway. Admittedly some are just the grey-stuff armatures/padding, but for people looking at sculpting themselves I suppose getting an idea of how-to in images helps alot.

I'll sart with the boring ones first and work up to the most sculpted/complete.

[1] MT "CATCHING"
This chap will eventually be at full stretch, balancing on one foot, arm outstretched with hat in hand to catch the ball.
Image

Image

[2] MT "DOUBLE TEAM"
This one is a bit deceiving. This is the bottom chap from the concept sketch on the 1st post. Eventually the second MT will be leaping up his mate to lay some smack-down on someone/thing!!

Image

Image

[3] MT "SCARPER"
A boggy-basic MT running at full tilt.

Image

Image

[4] MT "STATIC"
The quintesential Moomin Terror as depicted in the 1st concept sketch, but this time holding a ball.

Questions and queries welcome...

Pose 10: chatting up an unfortunate cheerleader?
Pose 11: headbutting a gobbo or fling into the ground?
Pose 12: staggering (reeling?) drunkenly with one arm around his mate's shoulders?
Pose 13: in a three-point stance (a la linebacker), ready to blitz the opposition, but with kilt unfortunately lifted by the wind?
Pose 14: reading from an uplifting book of poetry by the Bard of Scotland, Rabbie CarpetBurns?

that's enough poses for today - landrover's boss :pissed:
