Looks like a good buy Rab.

However, I'm not sure about the description regarding the plastic emitting a vapour. What's all that about?

EDIT: Deleted my uninformed comments, found the website of the people who make them:

Zerust website

Basically, it stops exposed metal from corroding by interupting the anode/cathode circuit from forming that oxidises (i.e. rusts) exposed metal. Looks like it should have no effect on anyhting painted, it's non-toxic and any of the zerust that does get on the minis will evaporate at room temp off the figure.

Well, that's what the site says - if it screws up my painting I'll be sure to let you know.

I am interrested in a link.

I am looking for a box or case that will hold a few teams, so I can store it at home in a saves place then a full shelf. Also what size holes do I need for standard GW figures (and what fornotmal big guys?)

My pistol box arrived and it's simultaneously brilliant and annoying.

Brilliant: really sturdy, good hinges and catches, good quality foam, new Beast of Nurgle fits in no problem depth-wise

Annoying: it's a little bit, well, little. I can fit one beast, four warriors, four pestigors, seven rotters, coach, turn and reroll counter, but not any others.

Overall - perfect for a team without big guys or sideline staff, or as a case for a tournament team, not so great for a league side with all those extra bits and stars just in case of inducements.

An inch longer and an inch wider and it would have been perfect (as the researcher said to the MP  )

so you can just fit a big guy and 16 minis in it

sounds great, what are the external dimensions?

I don't see how you need more than that for transporting a team, even for a league ;o

Well if you just have a team of 16 players it might be ok. However some people have a mini as a turn marker, another 3 or 4 as turn markers, a head coach mini, 2 or 3 cheerleaders and/or assistant coaches in addition to their team. It seems like Rab is one of the latter.

I don't have it in front of me but no larger than 10.5" by 8.5" by 3.5"

As to capacity, I like to be able to take the relevant star players with me as well as we tend to play 3 or 4 games in a day with a bunch of us so you can't predict your inducements before the day (randomised play order). I'm definitely gong to be taking it to tournaments in future, though.

An update - that little pistol case is still great. I bought a second one which I've put all my star players in so that I've got them to hand for unexpected inducements etc.

No problems at all from the supposed 'vapour' to stop rust, and I've been keeping miniatures in various stages of painting/varnishing in it for a few months now.

TeamTræls wrote:Check out the Feltheer range. It has a small, soft case which has two layers with 16 slots, each big enough for a Chaos Warrior to lie comfortly within. Alternatively, you can choose one of those layers+one custom layer, where you simply remove little rectangles to shape the slots yourself. I have two of these myself, and I'm planning on a third. Perfect for two Blood Bowl teams (or Mordheim warbands).
I use this for my teams. A good choice.
