Indeed!

Colour scheme is pretty nice! Also the coach does stand out from among the players. Any chance of seeing the complete team?

Cheers! 8)

thank you... I do try. You're DE team is right there with any of my stuff here... nice work really. Inspires me to paint my DE ahead of time.

Blending is simple really. It's just more time you have to paint. So lets say on your blue..

- base with your medium blue colour
- darken the reccesses with a darker blue
- using a light blue highlight the medium blue

here's the blending trick

In between every one of those steps glaze where the 2 colours meet to smooth out the transition. By glazing I mean a thin wash of the medium colour.

You could wet blend but that's a bit harder to master and alot of work for a table topper.

Anyways.. the point is glazing is the key to smooth transitions.

hope that helps.

Excellent... I love seeing pictures of other peoples work.

The glaze should be around 3 to 4 parts water to paint. When you glaze you should barely have any mix left on the brush. You have to experiement a bit to where it works for how you paint but after seeing what you have done so far I know you'll have it mastered in a short time.

I love them, I'm a huge fan of Blue + Yellow strips and those Witch Elves are fantastic. A massive improvement over the original minis. :)

thanks fen :) have to say the witches were a dream to paint. i only painted this team to get me back into the swing of painting again, never realy expected to finish them as they suffer from 'morlyitis' (gary morly sculpted them so there feet are F****** huge!!) but loved painting the team and ended up taking them to the bbo5!

It's very obvious that alot of time and effort went into these figures and the result is stunning team.

Thank you for sharing.
