Varnish salvage job is now complete and I think it's fair to say that these guys are now finished!

With that in mind, here are some gratuitous shots of the team for your viewing pleasure:

Overall I'm pretty pleased with the result. I like most of the conversions, and the paintjobs were OK. The varnish incident caused me a headache, but I don't think it detracts too much when you view the team as a whole (it's only really visible on 3 models, and they're at the back ;)

For me it also represents the most consistent and concerted effort in making and painting anything! I can't recall when I've been so single minded from start to finish - normally I pick up models and convert/paint at random and end up with lots of half finished projects!

Really looking forward to using these guys at the weekend

Thanks - he's team captain Jens Von Lupin and was built to be one of the centrepiece models for this team, inspired by Karl Kopinski's artwork for the Cyanide BB PC game. To date it's the most complicated conversion I've ever attempted and I was very happy with the results.

Bravissimo, Sir!
As an aside, the crouched Werewolf model is the one portrayed in Cyanide's Necromantic artwork, I spotted it!
Probably the miniature was used as reference for the artwork.

Very nice. I especially like the wight (?) with Tuern Redvenom's torso.

No, as axiom says in the thread, he used the art as a reference for making the figure.

Still think, given the starting point (Wilhem) the crouching werewolf is on of the best conversions I've seen.

Seeing those in the flesh(metal) was a whole different experience, that werewolf is one of my favourite minis ever and that fallen dwarf (the one about to be fouled) was quite possibly the best single painted mini at the champs. Very, very inspiring, it was great to meet you and shake your hand and I'm really going to put my all into my chaos dwarfs just to see if I can get anywhere close to this level of kick ass conversion.

I'll second that. Brilliant concept and fantastic execution.

The attention to detail on the whole thing is amazing, even down to the flowers on the back wall. I hope one day I'm half this good.
