Not enough automated and the controls were non-ininititive. A nice step in the right direction, but I couldn't even figure out how to block ... or maybe that's not automated at all.

You mean "non-intuitive"?
Could be the fact that english is the third language I learned but I haven't seen the word "ininititive" before...

Yeah ... that word ...
I think this is supposed to be a 3-D version of NetBowl which has zero automation as I understand it.
Trouble for me is ... I LIKE the automation in the PBeM program and JavaBowl. I'll gladly sacrifice graphics to have the game handle the rules correctly.

No, not really. They are not attached to NetBowl in any way, and they are trying the game to be fully playable and auotmatic, as far as i know.
But i haven't seen anything new done since that beta .. and i would love to see more about it.

Galak there are one problem whith the automation programs :
- Javabb haven´t the oficial Handicap table, there are very dificult implement some rolls. The program use KICK when it wand and not when you want.....and more .....
the automaticed client of Blood bowl to ofical rules are very very dificult.
You can play Oficial rules with NETBOWL or 3DBOWL or BBIRC clients but not witch JAvabb for example.

Blood Bowl is a very difficult game to create for the computer. The overlap of rules is a lot more difficult than one would image at first glance.

BB League/Team manager

What would people think of an automated team management system online? After each game of BB you would go online and update your team and purchase new players etc. You would not play BB on the net but use the program to manage your team. After your game you would enter all your star player points for each of your players and the system would automatically let you know if you have to pick a skill or if your stats went up.
The best part of this would be the stats that you could keep track of. You could call up the best player with the most kills but lowest Star Player points. It would be a large data base. Because the data gets updated after each game by the system prompting you to enter it, 20 or 50 games down the road you could look back at a very detailed history of the league.
Of course you would have passwords so others could not muck with your team. I was thinking that after a match both players would enter the code for their teams so that they are confirming that the game was legal. I was thinking that a 3rd person code could be added to try and keep people honest. 3 losers trying to cheat the system could be found and dealt with. I feel most are honest and even 3 may be too much. The to teams codes who played should be fine.
Would people be willing to pay say a yearly fee for this or is that going to far and asking too much?
All feedback is good. Looking forward to reading what you all think.

Do you mean something like this:

We run our league using Bampf's excellent program. And yes, I'm more than happy paying for it (although it is superbly priced)
