Beach Blood Bowl

Primarily hoping for a little help from one of the ECBBL lads here seeing as I know they're playing a bit of Beach BB just now.

I just got myself a board made up and decided to try it out. Couple of things I was wondering about, would be interested to knwo how you boys interpret things:

GFIs: yes or no? The rules I read say "No Sprint", but I reckon thats a mistranslation from the french, confusing GFIs with the skill. If you allow GFIs then 1 turn scorers are easy for Lizards, Woodies and Skaven among others.

The endzones: No squares.
Do you count them as being part of the Crowd for scattered ball purposes?

Hoping to get some of the guys from my leagues interested in trying it over the summer. My "Red-Hot Reptiles" team is being painted at this moment.

Amazons should make great, rather real live, beach BB players :D

We play with the rules here

So no GFIs, no fouls and the endzone does have squares (they just don't really show that well on the board).

Things we will change for next season
D3 for winnings instead of D6. There is just too much money in the game when there aren't casualties to replace.

Increase the 2 skill boundary from 6 SPPs to 8, and 3 Skills to 12. Teams get a little too well skilled at the moment. You may want to try limiting players to 2 skills too (or at least until the rest of the team have 1).

Fast teams do very well, as have the goblin teams (short pitches make TTM very effective).

An addendum to Ian's team's that do well, Dwarfs are pretty good. Highly skilled players on a narrow pitch difficult to outrun, and tough to dodge through.

Needs aggressive coaching and fast scoring though to ensure 3 skills a game. Chaos dwarfs should perform well too with a slight adaption to the tactics.
