A new change to the rotters?

Post by Raven_Talons »

I like the rotters but they seem like chaos to much. I think holy freakin cow the chaos warriors have foul apperance.( Dont get me started on the big guy talking about that opens up a box full of snakes and wolves and sharks) I think the foul apperance should be a physical Skill not trait for the rotters. But take it away from the rotters. make them earn. I mean anywya playing for a nurgle team should earn foul apperance easy enough with out having to roll doubles

A new Rotters roster is coming in the 2003 Annual.

The MBBL has already begun testing it .... if you want to see the revision, you can see it here:

http://www.midgardbb.com/GWTeams/RevisedGWRosters.html

Its makes the Rotters more bashy than the Chaos Warrior and it tones down the Beast.

After playing against that roster in the MBBL I still don't see why someone would run normal Chaos. It's still just Chaos+

Tom - Looking through that I noticed that the Ramtut you're testing doesn't have Foul Appearance as the rest of the new mummies do. That deliberate or a relic from the original roster?

However, I note that rotters move more slowly and have lower AG than Chaos Warriors. Plenty of people recommend scoring with CWs when you can, but this will not be as possible with rotters. The MBBL version of Nurgle does seem to be bashier but less flexible than the old Chaos team.

There's plenty of AG 3 and a whole hell of a lot of ST 4+ coupled with Foul Appearance...and don't get me started on the beast.
It didn't much work for my opponent to ensare all of my goblins in his tentacles and pretty much make my team Really Stupid accross the board.

Like I said, on the list, anyone who wants to call the ogre roster overpowered has plenty of ammo now since I suffered som pretty nasty casualties in that game. The next game will determine whether how bad I struggle for the rest of the season. I'll be down to 9 players and only 1 Blitzer...Gee I hope I play a Pact team.

Sure Hands OR AG 2 with a reroll is still a 75% chance of picking up the ball.

Relic ... I've been told that instead of the FA fix that the Khemri might stay with MB mummies but have Piling On moved back to the before the AV. .... but until I see that in print ... you are correct that I need to fix Ramtut.

Don't look at me ... I argued that he should be the skill list on the MBBL but with ST 5 and 130k pricetag. I lost.

Yeah until those AG 3 Ballhandling Beastman you are referring to get injured and you have to suck it up for the injury all the time as you have no apothecary.

I don't find this roster Chaos+ at all ... just more bashy oriented Chaos roster since the CWs are not ball handlers and your ballhandlers are open at any type of injury without ability to be saved.

And I STILL think the Beast should be ST 5, 130k

Okay I'll stop ... 4 posts in row is enough

:-? Not really a fix, in my opinion. If this happens in the next review, "Skummy's Mummies" will be born with the purpose of breaking that roster wide open.
