Ok, maybe you have discussed, but I dont have the time to look trough all the topics.
I have played the Necro team, and i think its more fun then the classic undead. Downgraded mummies is cool, no more whining from my opponent. No vampire starplayer/big guy, instead a soft package with frenzy, and a higher cost.
I dont have anything good to say about the Khemri, but I think the Necros rock.

Come on, just beat me, I can take it 8)

I have no issue with the team roster. I think the "fluff" part could have been written better, but oh well.

I hate the current version with the super human catching werewolf but the mbbl version isnt bad. I think most of the people hate the idea of it replacing the old undead team.

Why???

The wolf is fast, yes, but he get the hammer every time I play with the Necros. I think he more fun then a rookie vamp, because he can die! People are afraid of him, but not when its their turn! Every dirty player can easiely wipe their feet on the rug, and they do it every bloody turn! And thats cool! He has the potential to become really dangerous, but the vamp is born to kill!!

Besides, the Necros have a Family Addams attitude, instead of the mongrel horde the classic team is. And i like that. I have played 600+ games, and at least 50 games with the classic team, and only lost a handfull.

I kinda like the idea of the rogue Necromancers going around and creating Blood Bowl teams out of various bits and pieces. Fits the background fairly well I think. when I hear them described as a B-Movie team I shudder a bit ;)

I'll tell ya what I think's wrong:

1) The undead team already works fine. The chaos or HE team wasn't dismantled to create their variations. The undead shouldn't be either.

2) Werewolves hang with Norse, according to ever other GW source, including BB!

3) The team only has 2 player types with regen, and 3 w/out. This hardly seems to fit the spirit of undead in any game. They should mostly be able to regen, or have apoths for the others (heck, the vamps do :o ).

4) Back to regen, the flesh golems should have it for sure. I mean how else do they move around, but from the same spells that animate the zombies!! Golems are just patched corpses, surely the necro can fix'em.

5) Looking at the above, the team was clearly designed to push some mins, as not only was the original, and loved, team not needing to be re-worked, but the new positions don't make much sense, IMO.

I like the original undead team. As I said on many other posts, just use the Figs for regular undead. Werewolf stats are just dumb. I feel the overall concept is stupid, or at best poorly implimented.

I'm willing to try it out, but I don't see the advantage over the old Undead team, for two reasons:

1) the classic Undead team is generally recognized to be balanced
2) the Necromantic team has one major difference only from the classic team (Mummies vs. Flesh Golems is a diff, but not *huge* in how the team plays). That difference is the werewolf.

So, why make a new team that's basically like an old team that's known to be balanced and fun?

apart from the overpowered werewolf, I have no real objections. the new flesh golem (or gollum as the seminar amusingly had them) look cool

give the golems regenerate (at a cost increase), maybe change the were, and they're fine by me :D

Okay, maybe the Golems need regen, but I still think its more fun then the original. Maybe we could replace thick skull with regen.
But, with the wolf and the ghouls, I think its a part of the thrill. Its do or die.
Maybe the wolf could be given regen, and count as a big guy.

If they renamed it the "(Hammer House of) Horror Team", and kept the classic Undead roster I could live with it (especially after seeing the new Were and Golem models 8) )
