specifiy: trouble
1. both teams must have a maintained teamsheet
2. column D and E select both teams via drop box (may have to scroll upwards in the dropbox)
3. Touchdowns for go into column F, TD against into H, step over G, a dash will be entered automatically.
4. Same for casulties in I and K
5. Gate is just for statistics
Here's an example from our leagues current season (21 games played):

@Bloodbasher:
The race database is in a hidden sheet called database. You'll have to expand this and then update the names used for accessing this data from the team sheets.
Afterwards, go to team template and add some rows of formulas into hidden column AD, then change the validation list for E4.
Repeat this for all team sheets or recopy them from the template.
Be warned! This sheet is VERY complex, if you are not an Excel expert you better not change too much or it might not work properly anymore.
@Marcus:
Yes that's me, thank you! The proggie is still downloadable a bit lower on the same page.

Thanks for pointing out the hidden columns. Didnt notice them.
Also, in cell AD25 you have the formula =IF(Database!A25<>"",Database!A25,"") which is linked to no data (cell A25 in Database is blank) Not sure if you cared, but thought I'd let you know =)
