Nurgle's Rotters: no apothecary? WTF?

Regardless of whether the Beast is too strong as is, I have a real problem with a team that can't get an apothecary and does not have anybody with regen (except for the Beast, if you have one).

What are the odds that the apoth thing was a typo/screwup? Who the hell would play this team in a league without any kind of apoth backup???

Personally I'd prefer not to see this team play in any league without a bit of fine tuning

I'm guessing this is probably a typo, like I believe the 0-6 Warriors is.

With 3 rotter's in my leauge, they seem to be doing fine. Not top of the pack, but not bottom.

The no apothacary is because nurgle does not like anyone that tries to cure his gifts.

Nope, its not a typo. The no apothecary thing is all due to fluff though. You think Nurgle wants his team all nice and healed up? No way, the uglier, nastier, the better.

They are powerful enough without an APO anyway

Nah, the rules are unimportant. As long as Milo buys his share of minis and encourages others to do so, it'll be ok.

And oh yeah, at least once a month he has to say something like, "The new [insert new team or rule here] rules are great! My league uses them and we love them! Best thing since 4th edition Gold! Try them you'll like them! Thank you, Jervis, may I have another?"

Regen on 4 players is not compensation for no apoth. Think about it, the undead team's biggest weakness in league play is no apoth - and only 4 of their players don't have regen.

So give them all regen - Beastmen should then be 70-80k and CWs 120k - making a 1 million starting team too expensive.

If you don't up the cost then Nurgle are going to be very good in tourney/short league environments, maybe this is Okay as Chaos aren't too good in those sorts of competitions.

So either give them all regen for free, or just let them have an apoth.

Having just played them, I think they are fine as is. Chaos isn't bad, but starting the CWs with FA makes them much better for a very small increase in cost. Adding Regen would make them broken, and allowing Apoths would just be over the top. Making Nurgle too good in the short term to make up for Chaos being bad in the short term is a bad excuse. They are 2 different teams, one doesn't make up for the other.

What do you think of the new Ogre team?
Should I try it? Will I like it?

I'm tired of Fanatic and GW treating me like I have no brain and will eat up any crap they pump out. And I'm really sick of the BBRC trying to convince me to do it. I haven't seen a BB mag come out yet, where people on this board felt satidfied with it. The only people who do seem to be the BBRC.

By the way, it wasn't a serious post. You really didn't need to call me a "son of a bitch". That was pretty childish and only served the purpose of truly bringing out my dislike of the attitude of the BBRC.

Please don't come to this board just to fling insults. I am not satisfies with the BBRC, Fanatic or GW. I am allowed to say so. I don't do it by saying, "Milo is freakin moron!" I list my complaints. Insulting my mother only makes be dislike you on a personal level.
