Just been for a visit to BB Central.....

Jeez, I'm glad I found TBB first

Been there, done that, didn't buy a T - Shirt.

Used to be quite active, until TBB came round (I think)

For one thing, u never would have become a MEGA STAR.

Even if it was pretty "dead", didn't like the style of forum. I even prefer GW forums layout to the one on BBC

I always prefered the BBC style over this one.

Not me! It was too hard to follow large threads! People would reply to thoughts posted 1 week earlier and the flow of the discussion would get very convoluted.

That place was cool except for all the pop ups. I quit checking it out when 4th ed came out...ok, I almost quit BB, but that was enough to drop BBC.

well I want to say this. I am real life friend of the Owner of The BBC. I can tell you, its quite there, but for a reason. If you enjoyed the website I can tell you only to expect Good things soon for it.

Yes the popups did suck, and when the website goes back up, They will be gone. It is going to much new things to it and I dont want to spoil anything for Andy so i will not speak any of them.

this site is great of course. But for those that enjoyed it. It shall return and It wont be like the delay or wait for the Naf site.

I will also be working with him on the BBC on some stuff as well. Hes a webdesigner for a company and just go very into his work and stuff and he is one of the people that really wants to put 100% into something or not have it going and he just basically had to step aside from the BBC. but the remodel of it, will make that problem go away. hehe

I figure everyone will get to like the Naf site then get to be blown away when that site reopens..

I will say though. When it comes back, There will be a tourmanent help to go along with its grand opening. we have been looking at trophies and already know where we are going to hold it. so another fun and hopefully Large BB tourment heading toward the happy land of the USA

It ain't gonna work. The site may be great, it may get tons of visitors a day, but the forum will never come alive again. There can only be one big BB forum, and this one is already set in now. It's just like when BBC was going strong, and another forum (was it at BB.net?) tried to get people's attention. It never caught on. Only when the BBC died did this one get the crowd.

Oh, and i've stopped believing Majortusk's promises of improvements to the site too many years ago to even remember.

Its not just about the forum. this place is rocking for the forum. You dont need to get to negative on Majortusk. He has a job that just requires a lot out of him. when he gets time to work on things it goes well. he runs other sites atm that he does but some time too.

but anyway. I know your negative in all things zombie, so thats cool. thats just you. and thats what makes your posts so much fun to read.


BBC will be back when time is able to be given to make it a great site again. I am sure it will have people that post there and that will fine for those that go. Its goal will not be to put this site out of comission, which it couldn't do anyway. Its goal is simply to be the biggest source of blood bowl info and have some new treats for all.

Seems some people can't always wait.

I'm expecting big things from Andy! He's always had great stuff in the past.

BBC was cool back in the day, but making something as uselful as blood-bowl.net will be tough IMO.

OK, 1st off the whole NAF thing has been a joke. Your hard core BBers waited for it, but the average player wrote it off. BBC used to be a pretty good place as far as forums went, but then the popups combined with all the 4th ed BS started. BBC ended up with a bunch of pro 4th ed guys flaming 3rd ed guys. I decided I'd rather play 40K, or Necro, or Checkers than deal with all the BS that now came wih BB. At least Necro players never had to deal with some loudmouth players ruining it for the rest of us.
