Of course there are. I can't remember the last time our league didn't have a girl playing in it. There's Marie-Pier now, and before that there was Marie-Eve, and before another Marie-Pierre. There probably was another one before that but i can't remember. I'm actually surprised when i here people say that there are none.

In all my tournaments, there have been female coaches. The problem is, for my sake at least, that the girls are some of the other coaches girlfriends. So in most cases, they dont really care about BB. Its just a stupid boardgame to many of them. They dont think it serious to have 2 minutes of silence when one of your homegrown star players die, or wreck the carhood of the bastard who took YOUR trophy in the final. Most of the time they cant tell the difference between an orc cheerleader and a troll..by the way, neither can I

But enough said, there ARE females in BB, and there should always be. ( Easy points for us blokes )

We've had girls in our league but, like Gorbit said, they are usually somebody's girlfriend or wife and are just there because they want to be a busy body and see what we are doing. they don't take the game seriously. We had awife that would talk on the phone during games. What a pain.

we've got two, and yes one of them is a wife, but surprisingly they are passionate about everything GW - they have superbly painted teams, as well as 40k & WFB armies

thing is, and I do NOT intend this a sweeping generalisation before you start...


they suck at BB!

I beat one 6-0 (vs. dwarf) and one 4-0 (vs. Khemri)... probably because they multitask - we concentrate on the game, while they are thinking about a million other things

Hmm, one thing is worrying me, what are they doing out of the kitchen? Or are you playing on the kitchen table?

I still have nasty memories of my ex-wife's troll(ess) Fiona. (named after a mutual acquaintance, ain't women bitchy?)

They're not all bad at playing the game. A girl once took the trophy here with her dark elves one season. And she was some other coach's girlfriend, so that doesn't mean much. Another girl who plays here is nobody's girlfriend and plays many other games at the club, but she never did anything good with her amazons.

Ok, Im not against girls playing BB, and im not a sexist. BUT!!! I wont ever give my girlfriend permit to use my BB. Its mine, mine and only mine. For me, its something I do with my mates. Likewise, Im doing things with her, that I dont do with my friends.
She cant comprehend either, it would be like speaking Swahili to her. When I introduced her to Starwars, she called Chewie for "The dog" and the Tauntauns were "Cute Horsies"....
I dont try to get into her territory by remembering all the characters in "The bold and the beatifull" or "Friends". She can have that entirely for herself.
She wanted me to throw out my minis! She told me to buy some fancy clothes and become modern and take her to discos.. You can take my life, but you cant take my Bloodbowl...Shedevil-heathen-communist-mime!!!!
