What you do with coaches who "flat roll" the dice?

Ok, I just convinced my opponents to roll the dices in the empty BB game box rather than on the gameboard, now I have a new problem:
Maybe you know those coaches who "flat roll" the dice. That means they throw the dice and it lands flat on one side without rolling at all. Usually they roll a 5 or 6. When I tell them to roll the dice properly (so that the dice rolls along after hitting the ground) and that if they would flat roll the dice in Las Vegas they would got their hand hacked off, they respond "what do you want, I do NOT cheat, its just luck, I always roll the dice this way". I believe them that they have no intention to cheat, but I still have a problem with that.
Am I right? What would you do?

Tell them to shake up the dice, or just dont play them till they start "tossing" them

Tell them that the dice have not rolled, and they must roll for it to be be a roll of the dice.

Steal all their flat cornered dice and give them curved cornered ones.

You can force them to use a cup. Make it as a houserule, or else they will whine every time you make a roll.

Yeah I'm a fan of the rolling cups. They can also be made to look really cool! Find a nice leather rolling cup and stencil on your team logo.
Anyway, nice pic Gorbit! Photoshop junkie?

To pariah:
Nah, Horekim made it for me. The picture was taken when I was a little pixie weighing 320 pounds and playing Nosetackle for the copenhagen Towers.
For the subject:
You can buy some completely round dices from your game pusher. They would hate it. or maybe you can aim at you opponents minis every time you roll . It doesnt matter , because if they dont want to play, they probably dont paint either.
Rewinding my memory tape, one thing appears to me. I had the same problem, when I used the original BB field, but since I made some static grass fields, it doesnt happen anymore!!
It can be some kind of punishment from the big Nuffle, since you are not entirely devoted(maybe you have a life??)

I dunno, having to read that every time would constitute cruel and unusual punishment wouldn't it?
The method used is irrelivant to me as long as the dice do roll. Sliding dice or dropping them flat I agree is a no-no.

Hey, your players sound like the opposite of me. I sometimes roll my dice and find they slide instead of rolling... and they then come up `1'. If only I could get them to roll properly my elves might not fall over so often.

i have a guy locally who has a tendency to try and manipulate die rolls with practiced flips and such... usually people like this can be berated and belittled into doing a proper "shake" of the dice once someone points out that they're cheating... if all else fails, i'd make dice cups a mandatory addition to everyone's gaming supplies, much harder to cheat rolling out of a cup...

If you're the commissioner, there is a simple solution: say that it's your way or no way. You are the leader and their superior.
If you're not, you can only try to argue with them and convince them that it's a bad habit.
