Hey guys, just wondered if anyone could help with the above subject.

I've used Mike Rothery's painting services for several years now for painting my various Necromunda and Blood Bowl projects and have never had any issues. The service provided has been superb. However, I sent him approximately 15 miniatures to paint for Shadows of Brimstone back in May, and the communication with him since then has stopped.

I haven't had any e-mail contact now for over four months, the phone number that I had for him doesn't work now either. I know that he is on Facebook, but I am not, and a friend of mine has told me that there haven't been any updates on there (Facebook) for a good while. The website that he used to have also seems to be inactive. Not really sure what to do next.

So I was hoping that someone on here might know him and be able to advise.

Strange to hear this. Have used Cornish Mikey in the past and indeed tomorrow I was planning to send him some more. Have contacted him via Facebook Messenger within the last few days and gotten replies.

Maybe get someone to try there and see what happens?

I've had models painted by him before that time and have also picked up communications with him again recently about scheduling another set of models. He was incommunicative at the time you mention you sent him models, as he was going to do the next batch for me at that time, but I didn't send them as I couldn't get a response from him. He'd mentioned he was doing some trade show painting in that gap, hence my initial expectation was July/August for my models (now revised to November, all being well).

I did have troubles contacting him previous to sending my initial batch of models also. I think he just gets very busy and doesn't keep on top of his emails so hopefully nothing amiss with the models for you!

Edit: as for the Facebook page: I think he asked me if I minded photos of my models going on there, to which I said "yes", but they're definitely not up there yet

Thanks for your assistance guys, it's much appreciated. I was slightly worried that he'd had enough of painting, all the more concerning as i'd be happy to never look elsewhere to get my models painted. Hopefully all will be well.

Good stuff. The only reason I have facebook messenger on my phone at the moment is because that's the easier place to grab hold of him (ahead of email)
