Are any of the big guys as good as the Ogre?
He can make most agility rolls on a 4+. He has the best nega-trait. Good AV, S, and M. I take Minotaurs because I love the figs, but in a tournament setting, or if a replacement is needed for the playoffs, its Ogre all the way. My Ogre got more SPPs in 2 games than my Mino would in 5. If WA were fixed maybe there would be some parity, but as it stands WA ruins it for me. Why not just drop it, and make them boneheaded? Or even let them go wild on a 4+ unless a team mate is there to keep them focused on their real task ("Hey big fella, that guy on the other team was calling your mom a 2 bit barnyard@#$$%#@$^%"...Minotaur mauls unsuspecting halfling).

Why would you not? He trades in a point of agility for point of movement and a very useful mutation. Agility isn't too useful for most big guys, as their main purpose is to bash other people. I suspect the fundamental difference in all these lists is going to be how people view Wild Animal.
1. Kroxigor
2. Ogre
3. Treeman
4. Troll
5. Rat Ogre
6. Minotaur

Longshot prolly likes the move and the tail, both very nice against skaven/elves.
Most people dont like treemen due to a) move, b) standup roll, c) take root. My opinion is that the treeman should always be the last or next to last player purchased on a woodelf team, fling teams should always have max number from the get go or ogres.
My list would be
1) Ogre (minor bad racial, ttm)
2) Kroxigor (more like 1.5 than a 2 really)
3) Rat Ogre (only if used correctly, other wise switch 3&4)
4) Troll
5) Minotaur
6) Treeman (not needed for welfs, needed for flings if no ogre)

Kroxigor is better than the Ogre, the Ogres extra AG makes very little difference to his game unless he gets a +1 which a Kroxi wouldn't want.
Ogre is more generally thought of as best though as he plays for so many teams not just one like the Kroxi.
Rat Ogre and Minotaur would IMO be very good if not for the WA which would put me off taking one completely.
The Troll is OK but a bit lacking IMO, he has rubbish stats compared to most other Big Guys and a worse Negatrait.
Treeman I could take or leave, on a WE team only really useful for soaking up the LOS blocks on defence. Used to be essential on a halfling team but will now sadly be replaced by Ogres.

The short answer is "no", but it is a qualified "no" because there are odd ways of interpreting the question which could justify the answer "yes".
