New Blood Bowl 2016 Edition at Spiel Essen

I went to Spiel Essen this weekend and one of the highlights was seeing the new edition of Blood Bowl that Games Workshop are launching this quarter. They have put a huge focus on advertising the game and were demoing it and had all the sets out on display. Sadly we couldn't pick up a copy but the great news is that we have agreed terms with GW and Tritex-Games will be getting this in along with an extended range of their products.
As soon as we know the dates and more details of the release we will share them with you and get them on pre-order as I know this is going to be popular.
Even the components are really cool and would compliment any edition you are looking to play. The minis in the box are plastic which is to be expected but interestingly are multi-part but I guess that is so they can get the poses. The scatter, rang rulers etc look great in 3D plastic and I like the way the range ruler comes in 2 parts which is handy. Its awesome that you get a full set of dice in the box and sets for both players with D16's too.
I am interested to see what rules changes they have made but hopefully not many. - really happy to have Blood Bowl back on the focus list in GW though as it will bring in more players and adds more longevity to the game.
We have not had costs yet even the GW top guys at Essen were keeping tight lipped but consider the components there is everything there that the previous BB contained and that had an RSP of around £55 quite a few years back and in this edition they have improved the templates and quality of the board and there are a lot more dice so I would suggest it will retail at at least £75 (this is where I hope it will be pitched at as it's the fairest price) but it could possibly go as high as £100, I expect to discount this for pre-orders though and am told I should get at least 4 weeks notice before release.
