So I'd like help, if your willing to make suggestions.

Morg 'n' Thorg has been sitting on my table since I found him looking miserable and washed up in a tavern named Fleebay. He's desperate to get out on the Gridiron again but tells me that his high cost often leaves him out despite arguably being the best Player in the game and good luck trying to win that argument.

I don't play in a league, so really I'm just thinking of which team could I take him in at a table top tournament still have a decent team around him. Most rule sets have between 1.1 and 1.2 million to spend with the only restriction being that teams should have 11 normal rostered players first.

Obvious choice Goblins, but are there any others?

I also played this Norse Morg build in a NAF tourney. Finished 9th out of 18.

Is this about how to integrate him rulewise to your roster or how to integrate the mini to see the pitch?

If it`s about just fielding the mini, I`d say a chaos pact team ist what you`re looking for. Fits neatly into a Chaos Allstars type of team.

I've seen Halfling teams use Morg to moderate success.

Then just use it as any big guy in any team
As long as you are very clear (and it wasnt speedbowl) I wouldnt have any issues with you using that mini as an Ogre, Troll or Minotard for eg

Way back in time, there was no ogre mini I knew of but Morg.
So I ended up buying him several times to be used as Ogres in my human team, for example.
Now I still have 2 of him and use him as Morg only...

1. Go to 1,200,000 tournament
2. Play Dwarves
3. Take Morg
4. Take 11 Longbeards
5. No rerolls
6. Use Morg as ball carrier

Done!

Dwarfs are slow, how about Norse?

Some linemen, 2 runners a troll and Morg. This would be alright for S.T.A.R. Bowl a I could make the Troll a Star

Or Chaos Dwarfs

11 hobgoblins + Morg n Thorg and Garashnak Blackhoof. I think this fits at 1.2m

There's actually quite a lot of builds if your not bothered with re-rolls and other bloat (like positionals etc) lol

You got some against the undead teams? Just because Tomolandry tried to mummify Morg.... everyone holds a grudge...
