Tournament Playbooks?

Hi all,
I have playbooks that focus mainly on League play on my site, and I was thinking that it would be awesome to also have tournament (i.e. TV110 resurrection) specific playbooks for (m)any/all of the BB races.
That would be a truly magnificent ressource for tournament goers - first timers as well as veterans.
So, would anyone care to step up and write a tournament playbook for any race?
Take one for the team?
Cheers
Martin

Here's one for Dwarfs...
1) Remember to pack all your bits, block dice D6 team pitch etc
2) Have a wash on the same days as you intend to interact with other human beings
3) Drink some water and stay hydrated
(you can use these first three steps with any of the teams)
4) There are several builds but you will be taking 2 Blitzers 2 Runners 1 Troll Slayer 3 Re-Rolls and depending on TV 6-7 Longbeards and possibly an Apocothary (personally I prefere the extra Longbeard if I can)
5) Skills, you will be taking at least 3 Guard put two on the Blitzers a they can almost keep up with the Runners. If you get more the three skills then take more Guard unless it's not allowed at the tournament then just spam Mighty Blow, I prefer MB on my Longbeards but you need at least two to put the fear into them pesky dodgy AG teams. Use the Slayer surf stuff and keep his Big Guy from being over confident.
6) Secrete Weapons, you will rarely see thees on a Dwarf team, but if you do want to have take them, drop the Re-Rolls (half the time you won't need them anyway) then get both a Death Roller and a Chainsaw, Bommer is good too (stick him on the LOS and watch him fumble his bomb.
7) Position, Dwarfs are so slow, and don't have many players who can handle balls, Longbeards are usless in this respect (too much Beard) so plan accordingly as you will most likely b trying to think of several turns ahead, remember not to leave your self "short" I the last turn when your stalling for the win.

Stalling, this is perfectly exceptable dispite what your opponent says.
9) Do not try to throw the ball
10) Keep something back incase of a break through, Troll Slayers are good for this (4ome coaches like Mighty Blow here too)
Good luck

That is actually a great idea.
I stopped attending tournaments a while ago.
But I have to admit, I've tried to skill my team accordingly to my league teams, which didn't work out.
And most of the times when people discuss tournament skilling, I don't quite understand what and why they are doing what they do.
So yes, a guideline, especially for beginners, would sure be a great resource for "newbies".

I've been thinking about writing one for halflings.
Will get back to you if I get around to it

I'd be very interested in *reading* them, not sure if I'm good enough to *write* one.
Awesome idea.
I'd be willing to write a pretty bad guide for Dwarves, Khemri, Norse, or Dark Elves. It won't be particularly good but it might shame a better coach into writing a better guide!

This isn't exactly the same thing but we have done a series of 3.0 podcasts in our catalog that deal specifically with tournament builds for most teams. Just search the titles for "Dwarves 3.0" or "Orcs 3.0", etc.
Might help the writers decide what NOT to add at any rate.

Time for open-source playbooks then?
Definitely interested to give the Goblins a try, though. Do I just start, or is there a prefered format to follow?

I'd say that just by you volunteering, you have every design choice you want.
Maybe someone will create a template and we'll just insert the playbooks to get a consistent look?
With a community like this, anything can happen.

I imagine that a format similar to the league playbooks on Plasmoid's site would work well:

A wiki perhaps.....

A wiki sounds kind of nice...
The only concern I have is that everyone can edit it.
Maybe all playbooks could be put together like in a collection?
Is there a Blood Bowl wiki yet?

Sann did have one (I wrote a few things to do with Score for it), but he has since moved everything that was on it on to thenaf.net and let the wiki go.
Just googled Blood Bowl Wiki and this was top of the list
http://bloodbowl.wikia.com/wiki/Blood_Bowl_Wiki
I havent checked anything in it, due to work internet filters.

Just in case...
I created a wikia:
http://blood-bowl.wikia.com/wiki/Blood_Bowl_Wikia
I didn't have time to make it look more like Blood Bowl yet.
The other one seems to be related more to the PC game and also a bit abandoned.

I am more than super happy (yes, I stand by that!) to host tournament playbooks on thenaf.net, but Plasmoid has a good one-stop shop, and the first playbook link is to his site!
My wiki was just for Score, but it got shut down.

So you're sayiing we should not use a wiki?
