I hope this is some sort of sick joke and has no shred of truth...

First question should be: where did you find that? Helps a little to decide authenticity.

It was posted on the GW Belconnen Facebook page (an Australian GW store). Supposedly it is not a hoax.

Interesting news if true. Seems to be a 180 degree turn from where GW seemed headed though.

The picture doesn't look like GW-art.
There is no GW logo on it.
The text itself doesn't sound like an official announcement.

Seems pretty fishy to me.
I'd rather say it's a hoax.

i'd love it to be true. mean to say, i'm up for some "modern" blood bowl teams from granny.

I hope it isn't true. They left Blood Bowl for dead. It's still alive and better off without them. We don't need them killing it off for good with weird business decisions...

Plus, I like the game and all of the minis as is, with possible rules changes and race additions on a slow and steady basis. I fear they'll just make a mess of everything like they did with WHFB....

My opinion anyway.....

my two biggest fears, weird rule changes and GW suing the independents (who have actually kept this game alive), could easily come with this if true

but yes it looks like a nonsense poster, but ill be keeping my eyes peeled

turns out the pic is made by a guy in australia who leaked it, not GW officially so that might explain its amateur and non GW feel

The wording looks really iffy "This studio full of dreams and rainbows" sounds very dodgy.

They also spelt Armageddon wrong.

That being said i would love it if it was true. Some GW multi-part plastic BB models would be a dream come true for me.

The story goes that a store in Australia got the news first and then gave the manager permission to make a poster and share the news. That is peculiar.

Supposedly there is a memo doing the rounds but I haven't seen it, and if it does exist it could be very different to the story on the poster.

Still in Italy, can't fact check it for myself.

The new CEO likes single release board game type boxes, that is true. That could see some of the old Specialist Games return in that format.

But really, there is much here that I have to question. The Forge World bit alone is nonsensical.
