Hi all, I want to start a Slann team and want to make a unique team.

I was looking around the web to see what models would be able to represent a Slann team and I thought a hoard of hopping squigs would do the trick.

Also thinking of using the Mangler Squig as a Kroxigor.

What do you guys think?

If suggest minor changes to the theme though? Ideally you want three easily identifiable models for the positions (Lineman, Catcher and Blitzer), along with a Big Guy.

How about normal Squigs (Linemen), Squig Hoppers (Catchers - the goblins help with the agile stuff!), and maybe the old JB Demon Squig with a football helmet as the Blitzer?

The Mangler Squigs are MASSIVE too. I've done a Squig themed Goblin team and used the latest Gobbla model. Cost a bit more as had to get the whole Skarsnik and Gobbla mini but it fits perfectly scale wise.

The squig idea is really good and really fun - if I'd have thought about it before I went with the team I went with I would have done it myself...

I'm in the process of converting my own Slann team using bodies of plastic bloodletters of khorne, which I've filed off the khorne symbols and glued skink heads to (with the head fin cut off).

I'll be posting pictures in the painting forum when they're complete, but the bloodletters really have a good "frog man" look in the body shape.

That sounds awesome nonumber.

I am looking into model prices at the mo and see what I can do and hope to get some pics up next month.

I've also seen a nice slann team using plastic kroots!
Perhaps bloodletter bodies and kroot heads would be even better?

Did these for the Naf a few years back, Roller skating goblins, the hoppers are the catchers, Could be executed better but I still like the idea. If you go ahead with it post us your updates
