Team selection

So I'm going through all of the teams and trying to figure out a few that seem fun to play. I'm going to list the teams I am leaving eligible. I'm ruling out certain teams due to previous play. I'm looking for certain types of teams and I am hoping to have a few different answers. Here is what I'm looking for

1) A heavy bash team. A team that is equipped to kick a lot of butt and do a lot of damage. I played Dwarf before so I'm ruling them out. I'm not ruling any other team out of consideration here.

2) A fun team that can cause havoc. I know Goblins can cause mayhem, as can vampires and even halflings. So what team can be the best at causing mayhem and havoc? I want potential dirty players, heavy hitting, and a lot of crazy antics.

3) A run and score team. I played Dark Elf and some high elf, besides those what are is a great team to use?

Thanks for all help.

Chaos Pact/Underworld

Underworld/vampire

Thanks for all help.

Isn't Khemri difficult to do a lot of damage with being that they have decay and no mighty blow?

I never liked Underworld although I don't rule them out for annoying. Chaos Pact it seems is better equipped for the violence game rather than the sneaky git game.

Vampires are interesting. I've played one game with them and they did...well horrible but it doesn't mean I'm not willing to try again!

Skaven and wood elves are the ultimate ridiculous score teams.

1) Heavy Bash Team - Try Orc or Norse.

2) Mayhem - It's BloodBowl, it's all mayhem. Go Goblin for obvious choice, but I like the Pact suggestion from Digger.

3) Run and Score - Pick any team without throwers? Take a break from elves and try Slann.

Hope this helps with your dilemma.

Lizzies for run & score and a bit of bash. Same for Necros and Undead, both strong teams.

Pact/Underworld for crazy stuff (Mutations! Whoo!).

Bash? Chaos Dwarves. Just like dwarves only, well different.

Run-and-score: Skaven. Skip the rat ogre :).

And for some advise (mostly good/okay) check this out:

Although the 'feel' of a team is something only YOU can experience. Maybe try some games online or vs the A(u)I.

Bash: Chaos, Khemri, and Nurgle.

Mayhem: mainly Goblins. Halflings come close with the Chef, but any team can get that if they have enough influence. Nurgle cause mayhem with all their (annoying) mutations.

Run and score: Dark Elves and Lizards are the usual. Skaven and Wood Elves are adept at the pass/run.

I would also throw a vote for Undead. They lean towards bash, but can be used to score by a decent coach.

Underworld. Or Necro.

Both of these teams can do Bash, Mayhem and Run & Score. 8)

Dude, don't play Khemri. That's my next team. I'd like to be unique. :D

Seriously, have you thought about Nurgle? They can bash well and have great access and can create havoc with all that foul appearance and disturbing presence. Plus, they can score every once in a while. The one issue with Nurgle is that it's a project. Don't expect them to perform right out of the gate.

The way things go you might be. Khemri is so appealing to me, decay is the reason i don't wanna try. Nurgle is cool definitely but it's hard to develop them and they give so many options. They seem like weak chaos.

They are weaker than Chaos out of the gate on the sole fact that the Nurgle Warriors have 2AG and the Chaos Warriors have 3AG. I think the Beast is better than the Minotaur. It takes longer, yes. And if you compare an 1800 Nurgle team against an 1800 Chaos team, likely the Chaos team has an edge. But if you are looking for fun factor, I think the Nurgle have it. Rotters with dirty player, kick and wrestle. Pestigors as your blitzers and ball carriers. Warriors as your killers and field control. And then the Beast.

Frankly, I am considering at some point bringing back my season 1 Nurgle squad. My primary ball carrier died going into the playoffs and I hadn't had time to develop a backup so I got slaughtered.

Oh, and then there's the Nurgle's Rot - a great way to make other people really cringe when their former players come back to haunt them.

Decay and niggles on av9 pieces are red herrings, only scaring the superstitious... i.e., if someone can roll 10+ twice, nuffle's gonna getcha anyways....

Not a pure example, but had a blorc (in the early days of niggles) take shot to the knee.... Three seasons later, he retired with the team....

Av 9 is stupidly good (unless you are playing against "Vegas D" here in Atlanta)

Seems like you could get all 3 in one!
