Giving my opponent high kick, catch 6, then bouncing the ball to his rotter when I sack the carrier, catch 6, then allowing him three critical actions, 6-6-6, and giving him 4 KOs during a 6+6 pitch invasion, 6-6-6-6, whilst I only do three with +2 FAME, IS STATISTICALLY INDEFENSIBLE!!!

In my semifinals match last season with my wood elves Forest Hills Luminaries, at 9-2, a threat to win the whole championship and finally get that monkey off my back for always falling short in the playoffs on table top. Well, going against the high elf Rivendell Raiders, who I lost to twice despite insanely close games, I was ready to beat those playoff demons over the head with a stick from my Treeman. It even started off really well. I induced Eldric Sidewinder in advance of my opponent, knowing that he used him to beat me in our last matchup. He had the opportunity to cancel him out by paying for him with his treasury but he didn't.

OH MY GOD! I'd never experienced a collapse of that magnitude ever in my life. Well, maybe the Yankees losing to the Red Sox after having a 3-0 lead but that's real life. Pshah!

Start with a blitz for the Raiders. They casualtied Sidewinder before he could even gaze his shoes. They then caught the ball out of the air. I managed to double-fault (double skull followed by double skull) on my first dice action trying to knock the ball carrier down. 1-0 the bad guys.

Another blitz for the Raiders. This time, they killed a catcher. Apothecary? Nuffle says no. Still dead. Then I tried to dodge my wardancer away from being marked up and, you guessed it, double-1s. 2-0 the bad guys.

Now I actually receive the kick and it's picked up by my HOF passer Sahlhay Field (5AG, Strong Arm, Blodging beast of an elf). I flood the offensive field with four receivers and keep her back far enough not to be touched. They push me around a bit and start to pressure the passer. On my turn she lets the pass loose accurately to the catcher who, what did you say? Double 1s on the catch? Oh yes you did. Pass and touchdown, It's turn 4 and I'm down 3-0. I proceeded to turn the ball over on every single turn through turn 10 when it was now 5-0 and the other coach started feeling bad for me. I got one touchdown after that and he stopped trying to score. He then lost in the finals in overtime.

Nuffle came, Nuffle saw, Nuffle kicked my elf-loving arse all over the pitch and I had to say "Thank you my lord and demonic asshat, can I have another?"

My worst experience with Nuffle was failing 16 consecutive KO rolls (a one in 65,536 chance) in a game with my Skaven vs Dwarves. I lost the game 3-0 and finished with just 2 rats on the pitch. My only SPP for the game came from a T16 pass that required me to dodge away from the LOS with both the passer and catcher (he scored in his T15). That was my only highlight from the game. My apoth managed to turn a Dead result into another Dead result that game.
