I like that you think of young'uns as objects and not people (what vs who). I'm the same.sann0638 wrote:Ok trivia fans, what's the youngest naf player you've seen?

I don't know. That kid has played in a lot of tournaments since then, and is now a very good coach and a very good sport. Along the same lines, we have a couple of kids that play in our local tournaments, and they're probably our most polite competitors. I don't know why Blood Bowl is any less suited for socialization than any other hobby a kid might engage in, assuming they're chaperoned by an adult. If anything, BB needs more young players ASAP.Colin wrote:I played a kid at the GenCon bowl in either '05 or '07 (can't remember which one, but I think '05), he must've been 10. I remember late in the second half he was out of rerolls, rolled a skull on a block and said, "that didn't count", and wanted to reroll it.![]()
Gotta love kids (I believe he was the same kid who played Snew the year before and called him on IP even though Snew was letting it go all game).![]()
I think that if the game box says 14 and older, then that should be the minimum age allowed at competitive tourneys (private leagues and tourneys do what you want).

Totally agree, the average age of tournament bloodbowl players seems to be getting older every year. I may be crazy but that doesn't seem like a good thing for the long term.Gaixo wrote:I don't know why Blood Bowl is any less suited for socialization than any other hobby a kid might engage in, assuming they're chaperoned by an adult.
